I hope you had a fabulous Valentine Day!
viaI saw this recipe for Sassy water on Pinterest a couple of months ago, and I decided to make the Sassy water the other day. I have been trying to stay away unhealthy beverages & snacks and this is a great alternative for me. Plus it helps with weight loss! I decided to use a travel size container. I am not the type of person that usually has lemon in their water without any sugar. So this is a HUGE step for me! I hope you enjoy this recipe.
Recipe:
Ingredients
2 Liters water
1 medium cucumber
1 lemon Sliced
10-12 mint leaves.
Mix all the ingredients together and steep overnight in fridge and drink every day.
(okay so mines has a ton of lemons and cucumber in it)
of Course I made myself a little snack :)
Have you tried Sassy water before? Would you try it?

I've had this before without the mint leaves. It is a common drink that people have when they host parties where I live. It's like water with a little kick.

Your water recipes sounds very refreshing! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI always make this for parties, it gives the water a little "sass" and makes it feel special for kids too without resorting to juice, which stains.
ReplyDeleteOh, yummy! The best "sassy water" I ever had came from this day spa I went to a while back. They had all different flavors of it all over the place. The best one had honeydew melon and (I think) cucumber. Delicious.
ReplyDeleteThis looks yummy and I'm going to give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing at Taking A Timeout Thursday!

The sassy water looks delicious. I have tried each of the items separate but not together.
